House Lifting at Town of Brookhaven Architect Draftsman
Continuous flood damage due to major storms can lead to costly repairs and even cause you to rebuild your home. Town of Brookhaven Architect Draftsman can raise your home to keep it safe during severe storms and flooding.
What We Do
Town of Brookhaven Architect Draftsman specializes in House Lifting, structural design, drafting plans & expediting for building permits. We can help you draft plans to raise your home to keep it safe during severe storms & flooding. You'll need an Architect or Draftsman to draft plans for the Town of Brookhaven building department.
We first conduct a soil boring test and analyze the soil conditions to see if your house could just be lifted or we need to design wood or helical piles.
We then obtain an elevation survey certificate using the latest datum.
We have our licensed structural engineers inspect your home for any stress cracks in the foundation or support beams to make sure your existing home is structurally sound and could withstand the house lift.
Our draftsman measures the entire home and design the house to be lifted.
Advantages to Raising My Home
The advantage of lifting your home is that NY Rising is willing to pay. If you ever want to sell your home it would be worth more money because the new owners will not be afraid that their home could be damaged and that their homeowner's insurance would be decreased significantly.
